Irmãos Solidários (SIS) - SIS works in Salvador, providing education and training
for the local community
ABC supports the SIS project 'Happy Child' which provides supplementary education with several classes a day. ABC provides funding for the teachers and the refurbishments of the classrooms. Children are provided with
snacks and drinks, school materials and uniforms. They
also receive health and dental checks. The project aims
to provide children with a secure and motivating environment
for learning.
Since ABC began funding, the capacity of the project
has risen from 20 to 100 children. SIS recently focused its efforts at its new centre.
